MedicalCSE is the medical brand of Custom Software & Electronics, S.L. More than fifteen years developing devices and software for the healthcare, aesthetic and laboratory sectors.
Who we are
For more than fifteen years we have provided consulting, engineering and development services for certified medical devices. We work from our offices in the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau, Barcelona, and we design product end-to-end under ISO 13485: hardware, firmware, software and clinical validation.
Our flagship: ECG-Expert
ECG-Expert is our own product: a Class IIa, wireless, multi-platform electrocardiograph, developed in collaboration with the Cardiology service of Hospital Clínic Barcelona, led by our Medical Advisor Dr. Josep Brugada.
Dr. Josep Brugada Terradellas
MD, PhD · Medical Advisor
Dr. Josep Brugada Terradellas is an internationally renowned cardiologist and electrophysiologist. Co-discoverer of the Brugada syndrome, he has been a central figure in arrhythmia cardiology for more than three decades, with a long career at Hospital Clínic Barcelona and over 500 scientific publications. As Medical Advisor at MedicalCSE, he brings his clinical expertise to the development and validation of the ECG-Expert solutions.

ISO 13485 quality management system in place and audited. MDR marked under Notified Body 0318. And health-authority approvals in more than ten countries outside Europe — so we can support our distribution partners as they enter regulated markets.
